Blamed me for using the online booking service to book an appointment (that’s the whole point of it) for messing up my daughters eye test and not having long enough to put drops in.   I came in with my daughter Bella, the service I received from booking the appointment to attending was amazing. All of the staff are very attentive, great with young kid . Special mention to the initial gentleman that had seen Bella so lovely even bought my daughter chocolates. The girl that helped with Bellas specs too, so very friendly and informative.   I went for an eye test. They were extremely busy but floor staff made sure I was acknowledged whilst I waited for my appointment. I can not fault any of the staff. Floor staff who did the initial computer eye test was thorough, friendly and professional. The optromatist was also friendly, professional and made me feel relaxed. There was a slight problem with one of my eyes on the xray and so they xrayed my eyes a few more times until they were happy enough with the result.   Just to say..l have always found the staff so very helpful and polite...this week l went in to take my broken frames in to have repaired.I was seen by Daniel .. l said l would pay for the repair...he remembered that they were only a few months old and said immediately they are still under guarantee..and that was that !!...l received my glasses in new frames and they were even polished...first class service...thank you.   Incompetent and rude optician called SONDHI seemed prejudice given her rude and abrupt manners directed us. They said they issued an NHS voucher on the prescription but they did not. What a waste of an afternoon. Have to go get another eye test elsewhere. Not convinced the prescription was correct either. Frustrating. Have lodged a complaint. Not going to this place ever again.   Well, I am very disappointed with the service I got at Boots Opticians. I went in January 2020 and I was told that I needed glasses and told me all sorts of packages I needed to purchase for a better eye sight. These were extremely over priced and I felt quite overwhelmed when she was showing me minutes after my first eye test what sort of glasses I should get. Despite giving a budget, I was still been shown glasses way out of my price budget. I had to tell her quite bluntly that I was going to need a written prescription and wanted to think about it as it seemed like a very quick decision. So, I later decided that i wanted a second opinion so today I went to Specsavers in Barkingside a few doors down and they've told me that I don't even need glasses (I need to take eyedrops regularly to keep my eyes moist as the dryness causes some disruption)!!!! In my opinion, you all need to take a second opinion to make sure you're not being sold glasses when 1) you done need them and 2) you are being sold glasses with unnecessary package prices which are an extortion. Então, mais tarde decidi que queria uma segunda opinião, então hoje fui ao Specsavers em Barkingside algumas portas abaixo e eles me disseram que nem preciso de óculos (preciso usar colírios regularmente para manter meus olhos úmidos, pois a secura causa alguma perturbação)!!!! Na minha opinião, todos vocês precisam ter uma segunda opinião para se certificar de que não estão vendendo óculos quando 1) você realmente precisa deles e 2) estão vendendo óculos com preços de embalagem desnecessários que são uma extorsão.

One cancelled appointment (less than 24 hours notice) and 2 occasions when we were told they were ready buy on turning up the lenses were not even in the glasses. Perhaps one day we will get the glasses, but I fear that my son will be an adult by then and they will be too small. Should have gone to Specsavers...   I don't like their service I have a weaker eye and they diagnosed both with the same thing, now I cannot see with my right eye at all when the left one is covered. The glasses are pricier than in other opticians. I am 14 and they still wanted me to choose from the junior section and they were all too small. They seem nice but want you to pay for everything you do. I don't think £200 is worth for a pair of JUNIOR glasses with no spare, when you can get two pairs of glasses which actually fit your head and style for £150. Dont recommend, just go somewhere else.   This used to be a lovely branch with a family feel to it. Ever since they merged with another opticians on the High Street and made changes, the service has steadily gone downhill. Agree with what others have said - they only seem concerned with profits. Waiting times were horrible. Customer service vacillates between non-existent to smarmy used car salesman vibes and the optician was incompetent.   Wastage of time here....I went there for the eye test of my 5 yr old son...after putting drops by miss razeena in his eyes we hv to wait there for 20 minutes but we wait for 1 hr Nd 10 minutes still didn't got turn that made me crossed coz my son hv to tk his arabic lesson so I went to the recptionist to ask..they said wait for 10 minutes Nd told rudly tht u hv to wait here not come here in a hurry..u stupid mad man I wait there for a long time nd still I m in a hurry?there can b other commitments also...I hv attend eye tests bfr at the same area and the experience was brilliant..its my fault to choose tht for my son.. never recommend to anyone especially with small kids ...my son got irritated Nd was so upset in the end but the staff there was not realizing tht...poor standard of staff at tht branch...   Simply terrible service. Booked optician appointment for 1st screening. 2nd test took place 1 week later and ordered Zeiss lenses with a new frame from my 5 year old kid (first glasses). So far so good, but the problem started right after. Went to pickup glasses 2 weeks later as suggested. They mixed up the order - Zeiss fitted lenses in someone else's used frame. Placed a new order for the same lenses but with a different frame (Boots waived the extra cost of the frame as a goodwill gesture). Another 2 weeks had passed, no update from them. When I called, they told me for some reason Zeiss yet to pick up the order - another mixup for sure. Store manager placed another order and god gods how long it'll take - still waiting. What's annoying is that they don't bother to keep you updated, you've to chase them and the glasses are for a kid - more than 4 weeks and still waiting, no ETA, bravo. Wish I could give them 0 star. Fez um novo pedido para as mesmas lentes, mas com uma armação diferente (a Boots renunciou ao custo extra da armação como um gesto de boa vontade). Outras 2 semanas se passaram, nenhuma atualização deles. Quando liguei, eles me disseram, por algum motivo, que Zeiss ainda não havia atendido o pedido - outra confusão com certeza. O gerente da loja fez outro pedido e, deuses, quanto tempo vai demorar - ainda esperando. O que é chato é que eles não se preocupam em mantê-lo atualizado, você tem que persegui-los e os óculos são para uma criança - mais de 4 semanas e ainda esperando, sem ETA, bravo. Gostaria de poder dar a eles 0 estrelas.

  Having been to Ellis Optometrists previously in the past, I was surprised by the professionalism and care of the staff so that I could make the most of what was on the plate. The dispensary staff member Rageena, was the one who aided me throughout the day. My day to day life includes being frequently in front of computers therefore,I suffer from headaches frequently. Rageena introduced me to various lenses, coatings and filters that I can be implemented alongside my prescription. If anyone goes to the Barkingside branch, I definitely recommend her! The glasses that I wore in the the past were glasses with normal lens. As expected, the price correlated with these additional add-ons however, it was every bit worth it. I would not be as happy as I am without Rageena's help. All in all, I would definitely recommend, Boots. They provide impeccable customer service without wasting your time. I felt more knowledgeable and safe knowing that are my eyes are under good hands. You will definitely walk out as a content customer.
