  I went for my eyes testing last week and I was made to feel so welcome by all the staff. I felt like I had a thorough examination and was made to feel at ease through out. They have lots of frames to choose from and really helped me choose the best glasses for me. I got my glasses back the same day and felt really happy with the service I received. Diagnosis is the key point which is very well maintained with special skilled staff, I was really impressed by the Optician who helped me to understand my eye condition and what are things I can do to make it better.   I bought two pairs of glasses from here six months ago paying £250 one pair has been fine but the more expensive flex ones have been no end of trouble with the arms coming off twice i have taken them back again today asking if I could swap them for a better pair to which the assistant would not reply he just put new screws in and then refused to speak to me. I Would not recommend this Opticians for service or customer care.   Very friendly, very helpful and one of the few opticians who don't "punish you with a hefty price" if you just want lenses changing. My wife has used them almost since they first opened.   My dad has just got back from having an eye test and he suffers with social anxiety that is heightened by the current situation. The level of service he received today was -10 due to the unprofessional approach of the optician who was short and abrupt when my dad could not keep his face still, he is 72 years old. Needless to say, I am very annoyed about this and how my dad was made to feel like a misbehaving little boy. White rose opticians were very professional and knowledgeable, they provided me with my glasses within 1 hour. Thankyou very much.   Love this opticians! As I need to wear glass All the time and their price is cheaper than I have found anywhere else for my varifocals. It means that I can get more that one pair. Plus I am able to buy 'fun' frames from ebay and they will happily supply lenses. Excellent service... Gone there several yrs now after being recco'd by a friend.   My wife and I have bought our glasses from here for years it a small family run business with a excellent reputation, we now live 75 miles away and still think its worth coming over for our glasses. We would defiantly recommend White Rose Optical to friends and family it doesn't get much better than that.   Poor optical service from the owner whi worked at Specsavers. Bought lenses from this company and paid a lot of money for them as I got them given the full works. After a few months on of the lenses became heavily scratched using a quality cloth to clean them. Took then back but the owner want around £100 to put a new lens in. I used the same cloth on both lenses when cleaning but he claimed it had dirt on it So why didn’t it scratch the other one?
