  After years of hesitancy about wearing contacts I was finally able to become a contact wearer thanks to Arif at Eye Contact. He was so kind, patient and pleasurable to work with. If you are considering contacts you should absolutely go through Eye Contact - all of the opticians I have used in the past are just no comparison. They are extremely thorough and knowledgable.   I've been going to Eye Contact for over 10 years now and the team there are fantastic. I've had a few problems with my eyes & the support I've received has been fantastic. I've been back time & again for appointments and never felt like a bother. Their professionalism is top and I cannot recommend this practice any higher. The optician, Arif, especially, is absolutely wonderful. He is always going on courses and learning new things which improves his knowledge and keeps the practice cutting edge and he stays on top of things.   I've been to lots of opticians over the years and this place is by far the best. The eye test especially is really thorough. I've had a few concerns with my eyes recently, and the optician took the time to answer all of my questions and run additional tests.   I've been using contact lenses for over 25 years and this place was by far the best experience of visiting an optician. The new contact lenses prescription has literally changed my sight, all my geeky questions were answered in detail but also accessibly to non-specialist and the new frame was selected by someone with both taste and technical knowledge. Visiting this place is like going to a bespoke tailor as opposed to buying off the rack.   This is the best optician I have ever been too! Finally, my contact lenses work as well as my glasses and I can enjoy wearing them without the fear of my sight getting blurry! I had tried about 5 different prescriptions at the big chains. The service was excellent and you can tell that they really care in giving you advice!   Great Experience I have not long returned from my Eye test at Eye contact . I can honestly say it is the most thorough Eye test I have ever had. Arif the Optician spent an hour with me , asking and answering lots of questions as well as examining my eyes. he laid out my future options and offered guidance.   I have been with Contact Opticians for over 20 years. The knowledge and personable service they offer is second to none. If you are going to trust someone with your sight then you need to know it comes sincerely and not as a sales pitch. Much preferred for me than what you would receive from the main chains.   Disappointed by this place. I had an eye test which all went fine, the staff and optometrist were all very friendly. However the optometrist did not explain all the options available to me after the test, he just told me I needed the most expensive varifocals and ushered me out to his staff who then proceeded putting £300+ Prada frames on me. Nobody once asked what my price range was, or the different lense options available. I felt like they were trying to push me into buying something I didn't need. After speaking to someone at specssavers and another independent glasses store, they confirmed that what he prescribed was unusual and unnecessary. I think this place needs to work on explaining what options are available to it's customers and helping them work within a budget. (Traduzido pelo Google) Decepcionado com este lugar.   I have been going to Eyecontact Opticians for at least 15 years now and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone I meet, even if going there would involve travel once or twice a year. He has spotted eye infections in two colleagues that I referred to him after they had continued eye problems (their usual opticians identified as just irratation from "London pollution"). We also take our girls (8 and 6) as, whilst maybe not visually obvious that the optician is child friendly, the staff are excellent and Arif has a well practiced approach for conducting eye exams for children.   Extremely disappointed. Went back for an eye test having used the same place for several years as they have an arrangement with my former employer in the city. The test was fine but it's taken 2 weeks to get the prescription - I was told it would be emailed to me on the day. No sign. I emailed twice to follow up and request... no response to either message. I phoned a week later and left a voicemail... no response. I phoned yesterday and was told (without any apology or explanation) that it would be emailed straight away... still didn't receive it. Emailed to complain and ask for the prescription or a refund and then received it finally today, 2 weeks later. Seems to have gone sadly down hill - it used to be busy with several staff there but now seems only one assistant and very poor service. A shame. (Traduzido pelo Google) Extremamente desapontado. The lady took them into the back and when she returned they were repaired good as new, free of charge as well! Fantastic service.
