  I recently had an appointment at cloughs they are absolutely outstanding i had the best eye test i have ever had . My glasses are perfect not only that i have dyslexia and i was offered to have something called a honeycomb lens fitted to my lens. I would just like to say after 56 years years of struggle with dyslexia i can now read without struggling for the first time it has truly changed my life. I recommend anyone to go and have a talk to them about this life changing product as it is amazing. thanks again to all at cloughs for introducing me to this fantastic lens.   I've recently moved away from one of the big high street names, they just don't come anywhere near the offering, friendliness and attention to detail that Clough's do for the customer - Chris, Scott and the ladies on reception cannot do anymore for you!   Visited cloughs to get new lenses in my glasses. Excellent service by Scott. They really treat you like a valued customer rather than just a number. Scott was extremely knowledgable and helped me a lot. They are sticking to all the Covid guidelines aswell so I felt very safe going in to see them. Would definitely recommend.   Excellent service, I was really impressed! The optician Chris was extremely through, and asked me to complete a field test after I reported that the vision in my left eye was darker and 'spotty'. This is something I've reported a number of times previously at Specsavers, yet Chris reviewed the pictures of the back of my eye and noticed "congestion", and the field test showed a similar result, advising to book in for another exam in 2 months. Scott handled the sales side. I was asked what I was looking for, and given recommendations with knowledgeable insights. Ended up getting a pair of MOSCOT YUKEL glasses, which matched exactly what I was looking for. We explored the different options in lenses which were all fully explained, and I bought a pair. Easy! Different payment methods including 10 month 0% financing was offered, though opted for outright payment. Sometimes, when larger chain stores become the norm, the standards with the amount of patients they have drop which is prevalent places like Specsavers and Vision Direct. Fully independent, family ran businesses are amazing to both support financially, and typically provide the best service. Amazing work to the team at Clough Opticians!
